The Currie Cup delivers some of South Africa’s most exciting rugby matches. Featuring 14 of the country’s finest sides plus five international teams, this annual tournament is organised into three separate competitions: the Premier Division, the First Division and the Mzansi Challenge.

The tournament awards points using the standard system, with four for a win and two for a draw. Teams are also awarded one bonus point for losing a match by fewer than seven points or for scoring four tries or more.
