Bordeaux-Bègles assure l'essentiel face à Montpellier

Loin de ses standards offensifs, l’Union Bordeaux-Bègles a dominé de justesse Montpellier au terme d’une triste rencontre (9-6).

En voyant que La Rochelle, un concurrent direct pour l’une des places directement qualifiables pour les demi-finales du Top 14, s’est pris les pieds dans le tapis à Deflandre devant Vannes (14-23), l’UBB a dû se dire que finalement, l’essentiel était là.

Les Girondins empochent quatre points de plus au classement grâce à cette victoire devant Montpellier (9-6), et tant pis pour le spectacle.
