Le XV de France affrontera l'Afrique du Sud en novembre

Le XV de France affrontera le 8 novembre l’Afrique du Sud pour la première fois depuis sa défaite en quart de finale de la Coupe du Monde de Rugby 2023 face aux Springboks, a annoncé l’organisateur des matchs de novembre.

Les Français, qui s’étaient imposés à Marseille en novembre 2022 face aux Boks (30-26), n’ont plus joué contre les doubles champions du monde sud-africains depuis l’échec en quart de finale du Mondial (29-28).

Lors de ce mois de novembre, les Bleus disputeront trois matches à domicile contre les Sud-Africains (8 novembre, 21h10), les Fidji (15 novembre, 21h10) et l’Australie (22 novembre, 21h10).

Comme les matchs de novembre dernier, où le XV de France avait battu successivement le Japon, la Nouvelle-Zélande et l’Argentine, les rencontres seront diffusées en France par TF1.

Parmi les autres rencontres internationales, l’Irlande jouera à Chicago contre les Néo-Zélandais le 1 novembre : une revanche du match de 2016 déjà disputé aux États-Unis et où les Irlandais s’étaient imposés pour la première fois de leur histoire contre les Blacks.

Récemment, les All Blacks se sont imposés à Dublin en novembre dernier après avoir fait chuter le XV du Trèfle en quart de finale de la Coupe du monde 2023 (28-24).

Les Blacks affronteront également l’Angleterre, l’Écosse et le pays de Galles, mais pas la France, qu’ils reçoivent à trois reprises cet été (5, 12 et 19 juillet).
