Agreed though, 9 and then 5 otherwise, it's just that the other side got rated higher than 5 in every aspect, let alone that period were it was 50/50.

As someone who has rostered shifts I can atone to the difficulty shared by pro athletes traveling multiple timezones but times have changed since those days. There is certainly ways to fool the body, with science, in every aspect.

Outside of that period I think the score was 28-19, with 14 of those ABs points being somewhat consolation in the last few minutes of the game when the outcome was already decided.

For me the average score during mins 20 - 40 was probably about 9/10, and outside of that about 5/10 max.

There's no technique for top athletes and rugby players to overcome jetlag completely and it reduces their performances a lot. To quote Mark Andrews some years ago when I asked him at Joburg airport after we'd both travelled cattle on SAA from London - 'there's no way you can fool your body'. And having travelled E-W-E too many times in my life, I can certainly confirm it, even as a non-top non-athlete.

We're waiting for those good sides Fran, the international scene is such chaos at the moment we can't be sure that's not the Italy side that actually performed better than France in the 6N. What a cracker of a match to finish the year! Reckon Dmac has to be picked for that conclusive decider 😉
