Maybe Rassie wanted to give Pollard some game time and he did OK but frankly against a spoiling team like the Ities (and the Argies!) it might have been better to have him on the bench and let Manie or Sacha start and build up a good lead with their running skills and have him come on in the last quarter once the opposition had been worn out and his more traditional playing could be employed to really put the boot in.
