The Bulls have already brought in big names Duane Vermeulen and Schalk Brits ahead of next year’s Super Rugby tournament.

Meanwhile, the Bulls’ hopes of signing prop Maks van Dyk from Toulouse. were also dashed.

The 26-year-old Van Dyk, who previously played for Griquas and the Free State Cheetahs, decided to sign a one-year contract extension with the French club.

The Bulls recently named Pote Human as their head coach for Super Rugby following John Mitchell’s departure. The Bulls begin their Super Rugby campaign against the Stormers at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Saturday, February 16.
