Adam Hastings out of Scotland squad as Northampton prop called up
Gloucester fly-half Adam Hastings has left the Scotland squad after picking up a knee injury.
The 27-cap international has departed Gregor Townsend’s squad alongside Leicester Tigers prop Will Hurd, who has also suffered a foot injury.
The tighthead has been replaced by Northampton Saints’ uncapped Elliot Millar-Mills.
Hastings, meanwhile, has not been replaced in the squad, and there is no indication yet as to how long the pair will be out for. The fly-half left the field with ten minutes to play at Kingsholm on Friday in Gloucester’s 35-5 Challenge Cup win over Castres.
The squad are preparing for their opening game of the Guinness Six Nations against Wales next Saturday at the Principality Stadium.
