Andy Goode mercilessly goads French fans online as 'Le Crunch' unfolds
Former England fly-half Andy Goode took England’s demolition of France at Twickenham on Sunday as the perfect opportunity to take a dig at their old rivals.
Goode, who had a stint in France playing with Brive, consistently teased and provoked the French fans throughout the match, as their team were consistently picked apart by Eddie Jones’ men.
One victim of Goode’s attack was Yoann Huget, who, apart from his searing run to set up Damian Penaud, had a match to forget. The winger-come-fullback was consistently out of position and was invariably made to pay as England exploited the space in the backfield.
He was Goode’s first victim:

As England continued to pile on the points against the French, the fly-half continued to rib them:

The onslaught continued as the former Leicester man teased them by saying Jacques Brunel’s men would struggle in a relegation play-off against Georgia currently:

Of course, this tirade from Goode was bound to provoke a reaction from the French supporters, but that was only fuel to the fire as he shared the abuse that he was receiving, much to his, and the fellow England fans’ amusement.
One Frenchman said: “Hi Andy, I hope your plan goes well. I see you have a bigger mouth than last year. Go kisses all English bastards of your s*** island.”

It was the biggest victory for England over the French in over 100 years, and was the perfect precursor to what could be the Grand Slam decider against Wales in Cardiff in a fortnight. Meanwhile, France are in disarray.
