Wales ran out winners against the Springboks today in Cardiff, but it came despite a remarkable injury list.

Of course, egregious injury lists are fast becoming the norm both at international and club level, yet even by modern standards, Wales ‘missing in action’ makes for eye-watering reading.

The BBC flashed a graphic outlining a XV made up of absentees, and it’s effectively the Wales first fifteen.

What does soccer have to do with rugby? Your arvuement holds no water at all. A scrum is there to restart play yes and if a team infringes it is a short arm or full arm penalty. Why after all these years must the scrum laws change? Because some teams are too strong? That is just pure stupidity. Rather stick to soccer mate.

Don’t agree. Ireland were at a peak. The Scotland match was a peak for Ireland but a couple of injuries and a little prep time as a result thats all. NZ were clearly the better team on the day (and I am Irish). It was individuals who kept Ireland close, NZ had dismantled the Irish attack (I am Irish).

It can’t be argued NZ had improved to a position where they could/should have won an unlikwly RWC

SA are ranked 54th soccer in the world. Soccer is a bigger sport than rugby in NZ. Their rugby team had won 40% of World Cups. Ergo International Rugby Union is a Mickey Mouse Global game.

In 2011 SA claimed that a conspiracy in the match versus Australia and in the final allowed NZ win. NZ claimed the 1994 World Cup was stolen from them. Every World Cup both nations boast about winning, mock teams they beat or are awash with conspiracy theories. Let those without sin cast the first stone.

Mom told me my stepdad was from County Antrim, though he always saw himself as a republican.

The center could have been Travaglini (uncle of the UAR president) or Rodríguez Jurado (unlikely). Possibly Matarazzo, who did the late tackle to lose the game to Wales in 1976. Writing from memory.

There is loads of time. As an Ireland supporter I am happy we can duck out of the limelight as we rebuild. NZ can’t do that, but they will be there or thereabouts when it matters in 2027 as usual.

England will cap him next November.

Borthwick has come up with the brilliant strategy, which the All Blacks NEED to adopt, of playing 6 loose forwards in their 23 (most of whom began careers as 7s) by using a 6-2 bench.

Based on ability and performance alone, Sotutu clearly has been one of the top two 8s since 2022, along with Savea, and deserved selection.

However, both the Foster coaching team and Razor’s team, choose not to select him.
