Assuming Sititi isn’t injured and he is match fit. As it stands he will have his first game in 3 months(against the Pumas) to show he’s up to play the best team in the world.

Sititi Is a 0 minute player at the moment especially since he’s, all of a sudden not available for the first game with the Pumas. I can’t understand why Jacobson, Sititi, Finau and Parker are even in mix.

Jacobson and Sititi have been injured for 2 months and were average then now we find out Sititi isn’t available yet. Finau showed against the French he’s not All Black material. So we are relying on Va’ai , who’s not there yet, as a test 6 and Parker who isn’t even a rookie yet. Erasmus must be looking forward to breaking the Eden park hoodoo.

I think World Rugby is making a big mistake allowing this to happen. Argentina and Australia will be left in the cold and this nations cup will just water down the World Cup. Terrible idea. Great for Springboks and AB’s but bad for world rugby

Yes, it’s obviously reciprocal, and just something different to get used to, but it certainly has the same vibes as the push to have the team player more overseas where it can generate more revenue.

They are still having a home Bledisloe match, and could fill it in others if time allowed, but for istance they are going to Chicago again before the Nov tour, and have gone through Japan more recently.

Fiji nearly beat Australia, who beat the Lions. Draw more stars back for Super Rugby, like was intended with their entry, and they’d rise like Argentina has.

But no, that’s the whole point, with a new and better format, they don’t need to be competitive. Were talking about being competitive with the top three sides in the world, if your asking for sides that can win more than the odd game, I think you’re heading towards the same spiral of irrelevance Ben outlines, as your a) thinking you need more than 4 teams to give it freshness, appeal, etc, but blocking entry to anyone below a similar standard, and b) forcing a competition to be formed from series that hold singular appeals. Its like it’s competing against its on competition.

With Jordie and Moorby back and Naholo rumoured to be resigning for another season the canes are as stacked as anyone. Remains to be seen whether they can put it together for a championship.

Don’t forget that France only won by 1 point at home against an All Blacks side at the end of their season. France are very very good but that says something about the All Blacks side too.
