All Blacks prop re-signs with NZR and Blues

I certainly agree that Razor seems to have his own type of player. I know most kiwis get pretty tribal about it and there is obviously a huge crusaders - chiefs ‘thing’ but it’s hard now not to say that Razor has his crusaders favourites. Some of their stats don’t look SR standard let alone test level.

The one big thing for me with Tele’a is that he doesn’t solely rely on pace which is unusual for a test winger. Probably would have prolonged his career too as he could afford to lose a step or two of pace. He’s positional play always stood out for me. Still, you can’t carry players that don’t want to be there.

Finances should improve for NZR. They should finally get a bit of premium sponsorship deserving of the brand and it’s history. I’m sure plenty over in my side of the world cheered when they got the drop on INEOS and that morally bankrupt swine, Radcliffe.

I’m not sure if the ANZAC relationship isn’t a kind “brotherly rivalry” with a bit of tension. We are lucky enough to have some letters from my great uncle, one was about his group of kiwi soldiers getting into a scrap with some Australians. In a military hospital of all places, they were all recovering from wounds sustained at Gallipoli… What ANZAC day should really be about is another discussion however, but they seemed to see the humor in it at least.

Nice ideas to also make it a coming together of the nations and not just a match up. The combined team naming is a simple, fun way of doing that! Having it at a host city would be even better gathering of fans, just some logistics involved.

We agree though, there are plenty of possibilities to remember our ANZAC tradition respectfully through club rugby rather than putting the brakes on it all for a test match.

I like that the capital regions are playing each other for the Alfred Shout trophy now though
