Callender makes return to Wales starting XV for round 4

Round four of the Guinness Women’s Six Nations sees Wales head coach Sean Lynn make two changes to his starting XV, including one positional, as Wales prepare for their final home fixture of this year’s Championship.

Centre Hannah Jones will captain the team, with back-rower Alex Callender earning her first start of this year’s Championship at number eight.

In form Georgia Evans moves from the back row to partner Abbie Fleming in the second row with Kelsey Jones named to start at hooker, packing down alongside props Gwenllian Pyrs and Jenni Scoble.

    ‘This Energy Never Stops’ – Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025

    At half-back, Keira Bevan will link up with fly-half Kayleigh Powell, while skipper Jones joins Courtney Keight in midfield. The back three of full-back Jasmine Joyce and wings Lisa Neumann and Carys Cox will make their fourth consecutive start together.

    Wales have won three of their last six encounters against Ireland and will be keen to record their first win of this year’s tournament, with a record crowd expected at Rodney Parade.
