Now Midi Olypmpique report that Jones is indeed interested in the role and has had discussions with Racing 92 over taking over the reins at the Parisian side. The paper however reports that the discussions did not conclude in an agreement of any kind and that ‘nothing is less certain’ with regards to who will take over.

Jones is set to leave his role as England head coach after the 2023 Rugby World Cup, so he wouldn’t be available for next season.

When does leave, he won’t lack for suiters.

Racing might have to fight off Rugby Australia for Jones’ signature. Double World Cup winner Phil Kearns is on record saying he believes that Jones would be the perfect fit to nourish the next wave of future Wallabies in Australia.
