England put up cricket score in hammering of United States
England Women finished a successful autumn by scoring 15 tries in a 89-0 hammering of the United States in Worcester.
Ranked number one in the world, England have beaten New Zealand twice and Canada in the past month and the victory over the US extended their winning run to 18 matches.
It was an inexperienced XV that took on the United States, but one that will add to England’s hopes of lifting a third successive Women’s Six Nations title in April.
Lydia Thompson, Lark Davies and Sarah Bern scored two tries each while Zoe Aldcroft also touched down in her first match as captain of the Red Roses.
