“My move to Trailfinders will 100% aid my game, and it will help me push my kicking game,” says Megan Jones after her move to the London club from Leicester Tigers was confirmed on Wednesday.

Jones signed for Leicester before the 2023/24 season after previously playing for Wasps and Bristol. The Red Roses star, who is currently in England camp as they prepare for their Six Nations grand slam decider against France on Saturday, has also had a prolific career in the sevens game.

She will join Trailfinders for the 2025/26 Premiership Women’s Rugby season, which begins in October after the conclusion of the Rugby World Cup.

Jones told RugbyPass upon joining her new club: “In terms of aiding my game, yeah 100% [the move will help]. I think the grass is always green where you water it. It’s always my intention to better my game regardless of where I am.

“I’d love to push my kicking game, which I think Shings [assistant coach Steven Shingler] will bring, but then also being surrounded by some world-class players, I think will definitely help as well.”

The 28-year-old, who said she spoke to Red Roses teammates and Trailfinders players Abby Dow and Abi Burton about the club before signing, confirms she was looking at multiple clubs before choosing Trailfinders.

“It was a tough decision to make the move from Tigers, but I was keen to move on,” she said. “I wanted to reconnect with my family back down in London, but also, Trailfinders had that community feel. I’d been with Wasps for many years down in Acton, so it felt like a home-from-home in some sense.

“To see the way they play, I love the girls down there, reconnecting with some good friends as well. That was one of the selling points for me.

“Meeting with Barney [Maddison, head coach], the coaching team, I felt like they had a good ambition for the club and wanted to progress further, and I wanted to be involved in that journey with them.

“I love the rugby club vibe at Trailfinders, I love the energy that all the staff brought; they all want to push their game further. I love that passion side of things. I felt inspired going down, and I love the fact that they want to push the women’s game past what we could even probably imagine, which is amazing.”

Jones is capable of playing as a centre or a fly-half, and Trailfinders head coach Maddison said that he is open to playing her in both positions next season.

He added: “A signing of Meg’s calibre probably shows the direction that we’re wanting to take, and the ambition of the club generally. We are all really looking forward to working with her and can’t wait to have her join us.”

Leinster cleanse palette with record URC scoreline against Zebre

My name is Solenn Bonnet, and I am a single mother navigating the challenges of raising my two-year-old child while trying to make ends meet. I came across a trading platform that promised astonishing daily profits of 18%. The allure of such a high return on investment was too tempting to resist, and I found myself drawn into cryptocurrency trading. Excited by the prospect of financial freedom, I invested a significant amount of my savings, totaling over 5.7 BTC. However, what started as a hopeful venture quickly turned into a nightmare. The platform was a scam, and I lost everything I had invested. The emotional toll of this loss was immense; I felt devastated and helpless, struggling to provide for my child and keep up with my bills. In my desperate attempt to recover my funds, I sought help from various recovery experts. Unfortunately, I encountered numerous fraudulent individuals who claimed they could help me retrieve my lost money. Each time I reached out, I was met with disappointment and further scams, which only deepened my despair. Last year was one of the most challenging periods of my life, filled with anxiety and uncertainty about my financial future. Feeling overwhelmed and at a loss, I confided in a close friend from church about my situation. She listened compassionately and shared her own experiences with financial difficulties. Understanding my plight, she introduced me to Tech Cyber Force Recovery, a group of skilled hackers known for their expertise in recovering lost funds. Skeptical yet hopeful, I decided to reach out to them as a last resort. Their services came at a higher cost, but my friend generously offered to help me with a partial payment. I was amazed by how quickly they responded and began the recovery process. Their team was professional, efficient, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire ordeal. To my relief, they successfully recovered more than I had lost to those heartless scammers. This was truly transformative, and I felt a sense of relief and gratitude that I hadn’t felt in a long time. I strongly encourage anyone who has faced similar challenges or fallen victim to scams to reach out to Tech Cyber Force Recovery. If you’ve invested in a fraudulent platform like I did, they are highly capable of helping you reclaim your hard-earned money. Don’t lose hope; there is a way to recover what you’ve lost.
