Former Test stars and Wasps players among 13 leaving Bordeaux Begles

Bordeaux Begles have confirmed the 13 players that have left the Top 14 side following the end of the 2022/23 season.

The list includes no less than five internationals and two former Wasps and England U20s stars.

Santiago Cordero

Rémi Lamerat
The former France star is retiring from rugby and embarking on a career in the world of wine.

Gabriel Oghre
Another former Wasps star, the hooker is moving on to Pat Lam’s Bristol after signing for Bordeaux as a medical joker last season.

Caleb Timu
The one time Wallaby back row is continuing his career at Clermont after making a strong comeback from injury woes.

Federico Mori
The Italian international is moving to Bayonne and is gearing up for the Rugby World Cup with the Azzurri.

Tom Willis
Unlike brother Jack, the former Wasp is returning to England and the Gallagher Premiership to play for Saracens next season.
