The Western Force have jumped to fourth spot on the Super Rugby Pacific ladder after coming from behind to post a 29-20 bonus-point win over the Highlanders in Perth.

The Force trailed 20-7 in the 27th minute of Saturday night’s match at HBF Park before piling on the next 22 points to seal the five-tries-to-two win.

It catapulted the Force (4-4) from eighth to fourth heading into their bye week.

The Highlanders (2-5) are in ninth following their fourth straight defeat.

In-form Force flanker Carlo Tizzano was immense, scoring his 11th try of the season in the first half, and then pulling off a last-gasp turnover at the death to deny the Highlanders a try that would have robbed the home side of a valuable bonus point.

But it wasn’t all good news for the Force, who lost Dylan Pietsch in just the seventh minute after the Wallabies winger injured his quad.

“It feels good,” Force coach Simon Cron said of sitting fourth, albeit having played one more game than the rest of the competition.

“I’d like us to be second or first. There were a couple of games there I feel like we could have peeled away against the Reds.

“But it’s a great outcome today, and then it’s about what we do from here on end.”

Tizzano opened the Force’s account in the 14th minute when he crashed over from a rolling maul, but the home side’s lead was short lived.

Highlanders winger Jona Nareki hit back three minutes later when he bounced away from two tacklers to cross over, and fullback Sam Gilbert added another try as the visitors’ lead ballooned out to 13 points by the 27th minute.

The Force had looked off their game up until that point.

But when hooker Brandon Paenga-Amosa crashed over from a rolling maul in the 37th minute and then fullback Mac Grealy touched down after the halftime siren, the Force trailed by just one point.

A big turning point came in the 45th minute when Force winger Harry Potter busted over for a try with the home side trailing 20-19.

As Potter went over, Highlanders No.8 Sean Withy slid in knees first and collected the Force winger in the head.

Potter went off for a HIA assessment, while Withy was given a yellow card, which was soon upgraded to a red.

It meant the Highlanders were reduced to 14 men for the next 20 minutes and the Force extended their lead to 29-20 when substitute George Poolman went over following a slicing run from Max Burey.

Force centre Sio Tomkinson was yellow carded three minutes later after tipping his opponent off the ball, but the Highlanders briefly went down to 13 men when Nareki was sent off for his team’s repeated penalties.

Potter was able to return to the field after being cleared of concussion, and the final siren sparked big celebrations amongst Force players.

Gotta say I’m really enjoying the Highlanders desperation in the last 10 minutes of games, maybe it’s just because theyre having to throw the kitchen sink at it again. Another massive effort to hold the opposition out just like in the Blues game. I’m sure the coach’s will be wanting a little more composure though as the play seems to far more hap hazard (really just the type of footy I like watching) than the picture they bring at the beggining of games.

Again though they don’t have the refs to thank for anything, being down a man twenty more minutes than they should have been. Most importantly they were without one of they best attackers (not counting Tangitau’s early change) for the final push, with Nareki’s bin.

Again, I can see where this team is trying to go, I hope they can get their this year as they certainly have the game to be a top four team if they click. They are munch of misfits when you look at it objectively though, they probably have the worst cohesion score of any SRP team. A few more wins, maybe a come from behind upset may be the best theey can hope to acheive this year.

Leinster cleanse palette with record URC scoreline against Zebre

My name is Solenn Bonnet, and I am a single mother navigating the challenges of raising my two-year-old child while trying to make ends meet. I came across a trading platform that promised astonishing daily profits of 18%. The allure of such a high return on investment was too tempting to resist, and I found myself drawn into cryptocurrency trading. Excited by the prospect of financial freedom, I invested a significant amount of my savings, totaling over 5.7 BTC. However, what started as a hopeful venture quickly turned into a nightmare. The platform was a scam, and I lost everything I had invested. The emotional toll of this loss was immense; I felt devastated and helpless, struggling to provide for my child and keep up with my bills. In my desperate attempt to recover my funds, I sought help from various recovery experts. Unfortunately, I encountered numerous fraudulent individuals who claimed they could help me retrieve my lost money. Each time I reached out, I was met with disappointment and further scams, which only deepened my despair. Last year was one of the most challenging periods of my life, filled with anxiety and uncertainty about my financial future. Feeling overwhelmed and at a loss, I confided in a close friend from church about my situation. She listened compassionately and shared her own experiences with financial difficulties. Understanding my plight, she introduced me to Tech Cyber Force Recovery, a group of skilled hackers known for their expertise in recovering lost funds. Skeptical yet hopeful, I decided to reach out to them as a last resort. Their services came at a higher cost, but my friend generously offered to help me with a partial payment. I was amazed by how quickly they responded and began the recovery process. Their team was professional, efficient, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire ordeal. To my relief, they successfully recovered more than I had lost to those heartless scammers. This was truly transformative, and I felt a sense of relief and gratitude that I hadn’t felt in a long time. I strongly encourage anyone who has faced similar challenges or fallen victim to scams to reach out to Tech Cyber Force Recovery. If you’ve invested in a fraudulent platform like I did, they are highly capable of helping you reclaim your hard-earned money. Don’t lose hope; there is a way to recover what you’ve lost.
