Injury update on Springboks flanker Jaco Kriel
It would appear the injury Jaco Kriel sustained in the Springboks clash with Australia is more serious than first anticipated.
The severity of the injury sustained in Perth on September the 9th now seems to be a season-ending one.
In a brief statement, the Lions confirmed that he will undergo surgery on Tuesday and isn’t expected to return to play until 2018.
He was replaced by Jean-Luc do Preez for the hammering in Albany at the hands of the All Blacks.
