Italian international Zanon makes mid-season transfer to Pau

Pau have signed Italian international Marco Zanon with immediate effect from Benetton Treviso.

Zanon made his Benetton debut in 2017 and made 47 appearances and scored 15 points scored.

He will transfer to Section Paloise in France this week.

Zanon paid tribute to the URC club.

“The relationship that binds me to Benetton Rugby was born in 2012, when I took my first steps in Ghirada with the U16. In these ten years I have grown a lot as a player, but above all as a man. I will always be grateful to the club for having believed in me from the beginning and for allowing me to live in a world-class rugby reality. Recently the opportunity presented itself for me to play in TOP14 with the Section Paloise, a dream that I have always had and that in this particular moment of my sporting career and life, I decided to seize in order to continue my growth path.
