Lambie releases statement on rumours linking him with Racing 92
Pat Lambie has denied reports claiming he has signed for Racing 92, as the South Africa fly-half recovers from concussion.
The Sharks number 10 was said to have agreed a three-year deal with Top 14 side Racing.
Lambie this month stated he has no plans to retire amid concerns over his health, after being concussed last June and also suffering another blow to the head in a Super Rugby win over Kings in May.
The 26-year-old, who could be sidelined until next year, stated on Monday that making a decision on his future is not on the agenda for the time being.
He tweeted: “Despite some rumours, I need to get fit and be cleared to play again before making any decisions on the future.”
