Lions pair North, Henshaw to miss rest of tour
George North and Robbie Henshaw will miss the rest of the British and Irish Lions’ tour of New Zealand due to injuries.
Henshaw tore his pectoral muscle and North his hamstring in the Lions’ thrilling 31-31 draw against the Hurricanes on Tuesday.
The Lions confirmed the pair would miss the remainder of the tour, flying home after Saturday’s second Test against the All Blacks.
Ireland’s Henshaw started four games on the tour and Wales’ North three, but neither featured in the first-Test loss.
