O'Connor named Super Rugby AU MVP

Queensland Reds playmaker James O’Connor has clinched the 2021 Harvey Norman Super Rugby AU MVP as voted by fans.

More than 8000 supporters voted for their favourite Harvey Norman Super Rugby AU players.

O’Connor claimed 30 per cent of all fan votes, followed by teammates Taniela Tupou and Hunter Paisami who came in second and third position respectively.

The 30-year-old has captured the hearts of Australian fans this season and starred as interim captain while Liam Wight was out with injury.

O’Connor finished the regular season as joint top point scorer, alongside Melbourne Rebels playmaker Matt To’omua.

The Reds flyhalf has his sights set on the upcoming Harvey Norman Super Rugby AU Final, with the Queensland Reds hosting defending champions, the Brumbies at Suncorp Stadium.

Former Ireland centre Brendan Mullin jailed for 3 years

I am saddened that this is how Brendan Mullin has ended up. I met him in the 70's as a 16 year old , when attending a trial for an Irish Schools age group sevens team. I was coaching in Ulster at the time, and we had a player in contention.


On the way back up to Belfast, he was on the train for part of the way out of Dublin, and I got to know him a bit. He told me was born in Jerusalem, lived some years there. He was now being educated at the rugby powerhouse, Blackrock College. He made that team, as did my player. His immense talent was clear at that age.

in fact polls have shown conclusively 2 things: First - more people in NZ support the bill than do not (FACT!)/ Secondly - 96% of the 'hikoi' participants had not read Act's bill. In other words... they have no idea what it is about. You have carried this ignorance on with your statement that Act "seek to rewrite the Treaty'. That is 100% inaccurate and in fact is explicitly ruled out in the bill. You should educate yourself and read it before before commenting on matters that you clearly have no understanding of.

It’s basically because we have put it up to SA and beat them in 3 of the last 4 contests. He doesn’t like competition, is exceptionally thinned skinned, lacks the nuance and rugby intellect to give a proper retort and has the comedic value of a steroid loaded bucket of gonorrhoea.

True, they need to tackle better, but also Scotland put them under a lot of pressure and 90% of that pressure came from basic errors. Like missing your kick offs, clearing kicks only going 5-10meters. Missing lineout jumpers on the throw etc.
