Radradra wants Eels return
Toulon-bound wing Semi Radradra has revealed that he would welcome a return to Parramatta Eels after his spell in France.
The Fiji-born flyer will leave the Eels at the end of the NRL season after signing a one-year deal with Top 14 heavyweights Toulon.
Radradra has the option of extending his stay with Toulon, but is already thinking about heading back to Australia.
“I would love to come back. I call this club my home. If the door is open next year, I will come back and finish it off,” Radradra said.
“I’ve left that [talks with the Eels] to my manager and he’s doing a lot of work now. Last week and this week, he’s talked with the club. I’ll see after that.”
Radradra last month had domestic violence charges against him dropped and Parramatta promised to offer their support to the player and his family.
He added on his future: “If I take this option, it’s about stuff happening in my past that forced me to sign this deal to play rugby union,
“I’m looking forward to coming back here. I think I needed to get away for a bit from everything that happened with me in my past, I needed to go away and come back and start new again.”
