Japan win thriller, Black Ferns Sevens reach Vancouver SVNS semi-finals

Japan beat USA in HSBC SVNS thriller in Vancouver - Photo World Rugby Women

The Vancouver SVNS Series circuit has reached the playoff stage for another year, as the Women’s side of the draw follows on from the Men’s Day two action that saw the All Blacks Sevens get knocked out by Spain in overtime.

There were no dramas for the Black Ferns Sevens in the quarter-final stage, beating the Canada 7’s side convincingly after impressive performances from Jorja Miller and Stacey Waaka helped the Cory Sweeney-coached Black Ferns team reach tomorrow’s semi-final against Australia at 10:36 AM NZT.

The Black Ferns Sevens got off to a perfect start in their quarter-final at Vancouver’s BC Place, with Jorja Miller winning a turnover close to the line before she was able to walk in right under the posts.

It didn’t take long for Michaela Brake to have her say on the quarter-final against Canada, picking up the ball and doing a 360 to get away from the chasing defender.

Canada hit back straight after Brake’s eighth try of the tournament, as crowd favourite Asia Hogan-Rochester put a left foot step on Manaia Nuku to get on the outside, running away and scoring under the posts to the crowd’s delight.

Stacey Waaka showcased her power and determination, scoring a double within two minutes just before halftime.

Two quick tries from Miller and Kelsey Teneti that the Black Ferns chose not to convert, put the margin beyond Canada’s reach.

In the first of the quarter-finals on the Women’s side of the draw, overtime was needed to separate the USA and Japan.

USA started the quarter-final the stronger of the two sides, breaking away on two separate occasions using their speed and power to get past the Japanese defenders.

Japan didn’t give up there, finding their way back into the game with three quick tries late in the second half, that tied the scores on the full-time hooter, forcing overtime in the first quarter-final.

Minako Taniyama proved to be the hero for Japan in overtime, strolling in under the posts to send the Japanese Women’s SVNS side into the semi-finals against Fiji.

It was all one-way traffic in the second quarter-final between Fiji and Brazil, led by Sesenieli Donu and Mere Vocevoce both scoring quickfire doubles for Fiji.

Brazil were unable to string any sort of phases together, spending most of the game attempting to stop the Fijians from scoring.

Fiji will take on Japan in the Women’s semi-final tomorrow at 10:14 AM NZT.

HSBC SVNS Series powerhouses Australia were too good for the Great Britain 7’s side, as everyone contributed to a well-rounded team performance.

Teagan Levi opened the scoring for Australia, breaking through the line off a nice late cut, and sliding straight through to score under the posts.

Kahli Henwood proved to be too strong and too quick for the Great Britain defence, slicing through just to the right of the posts.

Australia were able to keep the momentum going early on in the second half, dotting down twice more to end Great Britain’s hopes of a semi-final berth at the Vancouver SVNS Series.

Women’s Vancouver SVNS Semifinals:

Japan v Fiji 10:14 AM NZT

Australia v Black Ferns Sevens 10:36 AM NZT

‘Unacceptable performances’: Drua boss calls for unity ahead of home stand

I remember the moment clearly staring at my empty wallet, heart sinking, hands clammy. My Bitcoin was gone. It had vanished into the digital void after I mistakenly clicked on a convincing phishing link. Weeks of saving, investing, and watching the market  gone in seconds. I tried everything contacted my wallet provider, scoured forums, filed reports. Nothing worked. Everyone told me the same thing: “Once it’s gone, it’s gone.”  I was on the verge of giving up when I came across a thread mentioning NanoAethosCoinRecovery. It sounded too good to be true like every other so called “recovery service”, but something about the way people described their professionalism gave me a sliver of hope. I reached out, expecting radio silence or empty promises. Instead, I got a prompt reply. They were direct, transparent, and cautious not promising miracles, but laying out a clear process. They asked for all relevant details, conducted a blockchain forensic analysis, and traced the stolen coins through layers of obfuscation and mixing. NanoAethosCoinRecovery didn’t just recover my Bitcoin they restored my faith in justice in the crypto world. I learned a hard lesson, but thanks to them, it didn’t end in defeat. Now, I triple-check every link I click, but I also know who to turn to if things go south again.

The glaring omission on Les Kiss' Wallabies job application

Malware attack, those two words turned my life upside down. In just minutes, 40 ETH vanished from my crypto wallet, stolen by an attacker who used advanced tactics to cover their tracks. I was in shock. Years of savings, gone in an instant. I contacted several well-known cybersecurity and blockchain forensics firms, hoping someone could help. But each one gave me the same grim answer: “Sorry, it’s untraceable.” It felt like the end of the road until I found (TRUST GEEKS HACK EXPERT). Unlike the others, (TRUST GEEKS HACK EXPERT) didn’t brush me off or offer false hope. Instead, they calmly explained their approach: deep blockchain analytics, behavioral wallet tracking, and a few proprietary techniques they’ve developed from years of experience in the field. They weren’t just talking, they meant business.Within days, they began tracking the stolen ETH across a complex web of transactions. The attacker had used mixers, layered wallets, and decentralized exchanges, trying to erase their digital footprints. But (TRUST GEEKS HACK EXPERT) followed the flow, detecting patterns and linking wallets through subtle behaviors that most firms overlook. Their team’s understanding of the blockchain's transparent yet intricate nature was nothing short of incredible. Through tireless investigation and real-time tracking, (TRUST GEEKS HACK EXPERT) managed to recover 39 ETH. That’s right out of the 40 ETH that was stolen, they got back 39. I couldn’t believe it. After being told over and over that my funds were gone forever, (TRUST GEEKS HACK EXPERT) brought them back. What impressed me just as much as the recovery itself was their professionalism. They communicated clearly throughout the process, providing updates, timelines, and even helping me understand how the malware worked and how to secure my assets going forward. It wasn’t just a recovery it was an education.(TRUST GEEKS HACK EXPERT) isn’t just another name in the industry. They are in a league of their own when it comes to blockchain forensics and crypto asset recovery. for Assistance support team is available Website (https://trustgeekshackexpert.com/) (E m a i l : info@Trustgeekshackexpert. c o m) (TeleGram: Trustgeekshackexpert)
