You’re plain wrong though in saying only Leinster & Toulouse set out to win the double each year. That’s pretty disrespectful and insulting to the likes of Toulon (2014), Munster, La Rochelle, UBB & even Glasgow! Just because they don’t quite get there, doesn’t mean their aspirations and endeavours aren’t very very real. You’re also wrong to state that competitions can’t be won with away draws, both Munster and Glasgow have proven this in recent years. It will be very interesting to see if Toulouse manage to prevail this year with their away ko ties? And if they do, what would that say about the Leinster meltdown and their psyche…
