Video - Garry Ringrose brands schoolboy violence as 'unacceptable'
Leinster centre Garry Ringrose has branded a streetfight following a schoolboy rugby match this week in Dublin as ‘unacceptable’.
Ringrose was speaking to RugbyPass at his official unveiling as a PwC Brand Ambassador at the companies headquarters.
St Michaels beat Terenure College 25 – 13 in the Leinster Senior Cup, the province’s elite schoolboy tournament, at Donnybrook Stadium on Monday.
Following the game a street fight broke out between fans of the two rival private schools outside Leinster’s former home ground.
Ringrose – who played for Blackrock in Leinster’s elite schoolboy competition – termed the violence ‘unacceptable’.
The Leinster back also spoke to RugbyPass about his recovering from injury, new teammate James Lowe; as well as Jordan Lamour’s rise to fame.
