VIDEO: Jannie du Plessis red carded for striking fellow South African

Jannie du PLessis

It may well be that for the Dr Jannie du Plessis the age old adage ‘First do no harm’ does not apply when it comes to the rugby pitch.

The Montpellier tighthead – no stranger to the odd on field confrontation – was red carded in his side’s clash with Racing. Du Plessis lost his cool at a ruck near his own line and fellow South African Bernard Le Roux bore the brunt of his frustrations.

Romain Poite referred the matter to TMO and du Plessis was duly given his marching orders.

Hosts Montpellier finished third in the table in the regular season, 14 points ahead of the capital city side.

But it was the visitors who started strongly at Altrad Stadium on Saturday, Leone Nakarawa selling a dummy to dot down in the 15th minute and Dan Carter converting, Racing team-mate Yannick Nyanga having been denied a try moments earlier for entering touch.

A sustained period of Montpellier pressure led to Benoit Paillaugue taking a penalty quickly and scoring for the home team in the 19th minute, Willie du Plessis adding the extras.

Montpellier were back on level terms for just four minutes, though, before Teddy Thomas crossed and Carter converted to send Racing back in front.

Demetri Catrakilis sent over penalties for Montpellier either side of half-time, but they lost Francois Steyn to the sin bin in the 48th minute for a dangerous tackle on Nyanga.

After a nervous second half from both teams, Rokocoko was found in space out on the right and crossed with six minutes to go to afford Racing some breathing room.

And although Carter missed the conversion attempt, he dispatched a late penalty to make absolutely sure after Jannie Du Plessis was sent off for throwing punches.

SURVIVING THE BYBIT HACK HOW CRYPTO RECOVERY CONSULTANT SECURE MY ASSETS

It was the kind of morning that left my heart pounding in my chest. My phone buzzed with a series of alerts—emails, messages, all talking about one thing: Bybit had been hacked. North Korean hackers had breached the exchange, and the total losses were over 1.5 billion dollars in cryptocurrency, Ethereum to be precise. My stomach churned as I read, realizing I was one of the many affected. I had been an avid Ethereum investor, with a substantial amount of my savings tied up in the coin. The idea of losing it all was unbearable. But panic was no help, so I immediately began searching for solutions. That’s when I stumbled across a company that specialized in crypto recovery and securing your asset, CRYPTO RECOVERY CONSULTANT. Their website promised to assist with situations just like mine. Skeptical but desperate, I reached out, hoping for a miracle. To my surprise, a representative called me within minutes. They explained that they had experience securing wallets from compromised exchanges and securing coins during massive hacks like the Bybit breach. After a brief consultation, they assured me they could secure my Ethereum by implementing a stronger security system that would block any unauthorized access. They guided me step-by-step, helping me transfer my assets to a more secure wallet and setting up additional layers of protection that I never even knew existed. Thanks to their swift action and expertise, I felt a weight lift from my shoulders. The hackers wouldn’t be able to touch my Ethereum now. My coins were safe, protected by multi-signature authentication, cold storage, and state-of-the-art encryption. Without CRYPTO RECOVERY CONSULTANT, I would have lost everything. Their quick thinking and advanced security measures saved my assets from the grasp of cybercriminals. I couldn’t be more grateful. Now, I sleep soundly, knowing that my Ethereum is safe, all thanks to them. cryptorecoveryconsultant312[@]zohomail,,,com cryptorecoveryconsultant[@]cash4u,,,com

'Statement of ambition' Ross Byrne signing announced by Gloucester

Sometimes life gives you signs-you just got to be paying attention. One night, deep in an Uber ride, I struck up a conversation with the driver. The topic of Bitcoin came up, and he mentioned that he once lost his wallet containing $50,000.

I thought this would be the end of the story-something like regret, lessons learned, and moving on. But then he said something that stuck with me: "Thankfully, I found Lee Ultimate Hacker. They got everything back." I nodded, really interested but unconcerned. After all, I was so very careful with my wallet security. I thought, That's rough, but it could never happen to me. A week later, it happened to me. I lost the wallet holding $300,000 while overhauling my crypto storage system. In one wrong move, my funds became completely unreachable. I retraced passwords, checked backups, tried everything that normally works, but nothing worked. Panic kicked in. My mind was racing, trying to figure out my next move. And then, I remembered the Uber driver's story.

I didn't waste a moment and contacted Lee Ultimate Hacker. Right upon connecting to their team, I could feel my nerves calm down. They did not right away get to work but also asked questions, analyzed my situation, and explained how the recovery would go. It was next-level professionalism; they didn't just work on how to return my money but also how to make me understand what happened and how I could avoid it in the future. Finally, after what felt like the longest wait of my life, came the message that I had been waiting for: My wallet was recovered successfully.

Relief doesn't even begin to describe my feeling at that moment. That $300,000 wasn't just money; it was years of careful investments and strategic planning. And in an instant, it was all back where it belonged. In retrospect, I owe more than a five-star rating to that Uber driver. His story gave me a lifeline which I didn't know I needed. Lesson learned: Pay attention to those random conversations-you never know when they might save you a fortune.

I had always been cautious about online investments, but when I came across an opportunity promising high returns, I let my guard down. The website looked professional, the testimonials seemed legitimate, and the support team assured me my money was safe. I invested a significant amount, hoping to secure my financial future. At first, everything seemed fine. My account balance grew, and I was even able to withdraw small amounts. Encouraged, I reinvested a larger sum. That’s when the problems began. Suddenly, my withdrawal requests were ignored, customer support stopped responding, and my account was locked. It hit me—I had fallen victim to a sophisticated online scam. Feeling helpless, I searched for solutions. Traditional banks couldn’t help, and law enforcement advised me to be cautious in the future but offered little hope of recovery. That’s when I stumbled upon Galaxy Ethical Tech, a company specializing in ethical financial recovery using advanced AI and blockchain tracking.I reached out to them, skeptical but desperate. Their response was swift and professional. After verifying my case, they used their AI-driven forensic tracking to analyze blockchain transactions, uncovering the fraudsters’ network. Their experts collaborated with cybersecurity teams and legal authorities, using ethical hacking to trace my funds.Weeks later, I received an email that changed everything: “We have successfully retrieved a significant portion of your lost funds.” I couldn’t believe it. Shortly after, the money was deposited back into my account.Galaxy Ethical Tech not only helped me reclaim my lost investment but also educated me on how to avoid such scams in the future. Thanks to them, I regained my financial stability—and my trust in ethical technology. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, remember: the right technology, used ethically, can turn losses into second chances.contact them via Email: galaxyethicaltech@mail.comWhatsapp: +15072712442Telegram: Galaxy_ethical_tech

Brendan Fanning: 'Wales have been insulted by the degree of arrogance abroad on this side of the Irish Sea.'

Watching 6N since the 1970s. You?

As an occasional journalist (although politics) I have an eye for sentiment in media. Almost every broadcast I heard, at worst were at pains to be careful to be considerate and at best were remarkably respectful. I read a few articles in Irish papers of record even supply researched articles into how aspects of the Irish system could be applied in Wales and which would be unsuitable. In short I have never experienced a build up to a 6 nations match where one sides media and pundits showed as much respect to another. Every country will have a broadcast which takes the p1ss. Thats not news. If that is the bar then every country has been a ‘national embarrassment’ before every match. Your substantiation for believing Ireland (in particular) is a national embarrassment is therefore unclear.

Why do I read the Daily Telegraph? I read many rugby articles, and related articles in Daily Telegraph and The Times to get different perspectives. You might as well ask why listen to ‘Off The Ball’ and place such an importance to it that a joke in it is a national embarrassment?

I don’t speak for you, but equivalently you don’t get to declare a joke as a ‘national embarrassment’ without substantiation.

The issue was not the joke, thatw as nothing. It was the noise made by ‘outraged’ British and Irish media who were cynically cashing in on it.

Yesterday WalesOnline continued their decades long extreme bias against Irish rugby by attacking Dan Sheehan and the Irish team saying they “laughed at the whinging Irish” when Sheehan brought up issues with how the scrum were adjudicated.

This comment was not made in jest. Do you consider this a national embarrassment? Should we attack all Welsh rugby fans and media for tolerating these continuous quasi zenophobic attack on Irish rugby and fans? Nah, didn’t think so.
