Wasps to relocate to Sixways - report

Wasps v Worcester Warriors – Gallagher Premiership – Ricoh Arena

Wasps are set to relocate to Sixways Stadium from next season on, a move that was announced today at a public meeting between Atlas and Worcester rugby fans.

Earlier this week the RFU confirmed that Wasps have been given approval to take part in the Championship next season but there was no late reprieve for Worcester, who it had been suggested would be rebranded as ‘Sixways Rugby’.

Free Radio News report that the owners of the Warriors, Atlas, led by Jim O’Toole and James Sandford, held a meeting with supporters at Sixways.

During the meeting, O’Toole revealed that, in principle, Wasps would relocate to the stadium next season and continue to play there until their own stadium’s development is completed. However, Wasps have not yet confirmed the move.

The move would see the formerly London and then Coventry-based side spend at least three years at the stadium.

O’Toole also addressed earlier the controversies around their rebrand, assuring the crowd of around 550 fans that Worcester Warriors would retain its name. Additionally, he announced that Stourbridge RFC would become Warriors next season, subject to a members’ vote.

He also emphasized the plan to invest in the side, lending players from Wasps, with the goal of moving up the leagues to the Championship within five years.

Atlas announced last Thursday that the RFU’s demands for inclusion in the Championship were too onerous, forcing them to instead pursue a merger with semi-professional Stourbridge in the hope of competing in the fourth tier.

Wasps and Worcester were placed into administration earlier in the season after being pursued for unpaid tax by HM Revenue and Customs, resulting in their removal from the Gallagher Premiership.

On Thursday 9 February, Atlas released a statement saying that they had withdrawn its application for Worcester Warriors men’s team to play in the Championship.

The RFU and DCMS met with Atlas on Monday 13 February to see if there could be a different resolution to the situation. The Atlas position did not change, and therefore Worcester Warriors will not participate in the Championship in the 2023-24 season.

What Newcastle 'can’t legislate for' as they face fellow basement dwellers

As a retired doc, I never thought I'd get scammed, especially not out of a whopping $98,000 in Bitcoin, thanks to a terrible forex deal. It was a crazy, hard-to-believe ordeal that left me financially drowned and lost. Realizing I'd seemingly lost all my savings was, to put it mildly, a lot to handle. But, amidst all this financial chaos, hope was restored when I found reviews about META TECH RECOVERY PRO. This sad ordeal started with what looked like a mouth-watering investment. Unfortunately, it was an existing organized fraud scheme, I only realized that after getting in touch with META TECH RECOVERY PRO. The truth hit me hard, and I was left dealing with the fallout, clueless about what to do. The digital world's complexity and the tricky process of getting back lost money made me feel helpless. Luckily, while looking for answers, I saw reviews raving about the skills of META TECH RECOVERY PRO's hackers. Out for a solution, I decided to contact them. The reviews talked about how they helped people like me recover lost Bitcoin investments. With a mix of doubt and hope, I figured I'd give it a try, thinking there might be a chance to get back what I'd lost. In no time, they showed off their digital skills by successfully getting back all my lost funds. I can't even begin to describe how grateful and relieved I felt. Having META TECH RECOVERY PRO on my side was amazing and super helpful. If you, like me, have been ripped off by fake forex brokers and scammers, it's good to know that META TECH RECOVERY PRO is there to help. Their expertise, reliability, and dedication to helping those who've been scammed online are truly impressive. I think having them in your corner gives you a sense of security and a way to get back what's rightfully yours. I wholeheartedly recommend META TECH RECOVERY PRO to anyone who needs help getting back what was stolen from them. for help via.
