Sensation Taniela Tupou caused widespread shock and awe when his long range tries for Sacred Heart went viral in 2014. His unique skills for his size led to some pundits calling for Tupou to be used as a centre – although we don’t think that will happen, we have found similar traits in one prospect who actually is a centre.

To be fair, most international coaches are believers in getting the best 15 on the pitch regardless of position. Aussie coaches been doing it for years. Usually about 3 fly halves in an Aussie backline.

We were planning to go to Paris then Cardiff the weekend of the 8th. Too complicated. Most likely, we will go to Dublin and Edinburgh, the two rugby stadiums we don’t know, the weekend of the 15th. Hope to enjoy it. No poms, no Saffas.

I am, like last season, not at all confident for tomorrow, but hope springs eternal. I expect us to square the set piece battle (maybe edge the lineout?). England will probably shade the gain line, although Bob V is back fully fit, so fingers crossed. They have guys better equipped for an aerial battle.

. . . And where they play LF when they bring him off the bench. Do they try QT/LF or do they just swap the 13’s? Alternatively, do you then start JB at 12 and switch to 15 to bring WJ to wing to add more playmakers for the final quarter?

Lots of different possibilities, so will be interesting to see what changes.

I think their back row has improved in Game 6 and they have finally found the right balance but will be interesting to see if they play LF & QT in the centres together, which would be a super powerful centre combination.

The AB pack looks better than last year but the attack has gone backwards.

I think it will be more that that HH, I think the Aussie’s will win by 15 based on the teams and that’s before you consider battle hardened vs rusty, which is another reason to favour the Aussies.

The second win was emphatic, and felt like a glimpse of the future. While the Auckland match seemed to be played more by the SA of old. If you ask me, it was a step backwards for the ABs (or at least no step at all), and one giant step forward for your Boks.
