This week we’re showcasing the best of the Condor 7s, the New Zealand secondary schools national Sevens competition.

Next up, Lemeki Namoa of Sacred Heart College, Auckland. Namoa was a selection in the team of tournament on the back of solid performances for Sacred Heart, taking valuable turnovers at the breakdown and scoring long-range tries.

Namoa was head prefect at Sacred Heart and a midfielder for the Blues u18 side.

Italy always gets respect from the ABs. No matter the form guide. It wasn't too long ago I remember an Aussie referee loving the way the Azzuri were scrumming us into the dirt so much, he penalized us 1000 times & the test was played defending our 5 metre line for 79 1/2 minutes. Or so it seemed.

Joe Schmidt just comes across as mature, experienced but also balanced in his approach. He undoubtedly left Ireland in a much better place than he found them, even if they did perhaps taper off a little toward the end of his reign. I am sure he will do the same for Australia. I would love for England to have someone of his level, compared to the rather callow coaching group we currently have.

Don't think Tom Curry should have been selected. Whatever the protocols say, if he's had two concussions this season already, and was knocked out cold two weeks ago, he should have been told to go home and put his feet up for a while. Think there's a welfare issue here, and I don't mean Steve Borthwick's coaching career. England will most probably beat Japan, and the back row is one of the relative areas of strength, so England could easily have selected someone else without massively weakening the pack.

Was excited for an Italy piece, but it was more an English one. Like your effort in turning it into one though so here goes "it might be a 95% named team but are they gonna have 95% (more like 70) commitment need to get this one in the bag? I'm not so sure. Slipping below 80 has been this teams achilles heel", hows that, ABs in a tight one.

There's also one in the NH JWH, and it certainly wasn't Italy!
