Watch: Francois Louw set to be facing a lengthy ban

While Bath struggled in spells during their match against Benetton on Saturday, they did come away with a comfortable win.

The main talking point came from what looks to be a fairly ugly incident involving Francois Louw, his hands visibly placed on the opposition players face.

While it isn’t clear if he has tried to gouge his opponent in this instance, having your hands in the face of an opposing player will likely be viewed very negatively and dealt with accordingly.

Just one correction to the above, it was Simon Easterby and not Andy Farrell that played Cian Healy in the Six Nations this year; and to say it didn’t burn Ireland too badly suggests his performance in the cameo versus France was overlooked

We’ll likely win this match & get carried away with ourselves blah blah blah, while forgetting that this is largely the same Eight that got nuked twice by ENG, & lost to CAN & IRE, last year. Two clear issues - a part time lock in Alana,& a small loosies combo. Our RWC prospects remain marginal while this formula remains our pack selection.

I’d argue that Tuipolotu was one of their biggest problems, completely the opposite of Ardie Savea as a captain, exudes zero energy as he saunters from ruck to ruck. The whole team has suffered from the complacency of winning last year.

I totally agree that he is part of the pitcture, slipped my mind as I toyed with going only domestic players or include OS, so I forgot to add him when I added Skelton, put him in with the 12s instead of Walton.
