The 8 Southern Hemisphere-raised Lions heading Down Under

Rugby is now a professional game and player qualification is very clear and the same for everyone. These players were mostly discarded by their previous home country so they moved for better opportunities and were developed or their talent was recognised by their adopted nation so good luck to them and Good Luck to the Lions. Lets not pretend that RA and NZRU have different qualification criteria to the rest of the world. The ‘half wits’ on here who just want to put a negative spin in the comments section should wake up and look forward to a much anticipated and exciting Lions series.

Why former All Black believes the Wallabies will beat the B&I Lions

Look at what happened in Sa last time round. When Biggar played at 10 the Lions were dull. On came Russel and the Lions came alive and played some great rugby. Andy Farrell likes structure in his teams, just look at Irish phase play, and the Lions have the forwards to do a 6-2 split and destroy Aus upfront. Aus on the other hand will need a very clever gameplan to negate Lions strenth to have any chance of winning. Aus will need 5 or 6 gameplans to win the series and also some luck regarding Lions team selection. Aus do have some good players and some of them might even be great one day but for now they are a young team with a very good coach. Still it will be hard to bet against a Lions series victory.

Tell me when last did we have such a unpredictable, great, taking gaps flyhalf. Previous flyhalf also good but not as good as this guy. He reads the game perfectly. He will win us our 5th RWC Title of this I have doubts.

Don't understand it Proctor absolutely shines as a centre, every time he touches the ball something happens. Would definitely open up the All Blacks backs.Put Reiko on the wing where he shines, definitely outshines Telea when it comes to out and out speed.
