The Dragons winger who looks on course to represent Wales at next years sevens World Cup has had more than 36,000 listeners of his EP SMS on Soundcloud.

“One of my school friends converted his garage into a studio and I just thought: ‘Let’s make some songs,’ said Lewis.

“I thought I may get some stick from the rugby boys with Wales and the Dragons but, fair play, they’ve been really sound and supportive of what I’ve made.”

“I was really nervous about the reaction from people when it came out but I’ve hardly had any stick. It’s gone down really well with them and on the Soundcloud App.”

“I wrote the lyrics myself and my friend Aron B, who did a music course in college, mixed them.”

“It’s just a hobby and I’ve never thought about it leading to anything. I’ve done it because I like music and chilling with my friends in the studio.”

“Rugby comes first. I missed most of last season through injury but my aim is to remain in the Wales Sevens squad for the Commonwealth Games in Australia and the World Cup in the United States.”

As you can see from the clip below, as well as being a talented rapper he also has a serious set of wheels, so remember the name.

Razor's 2024 All Blacks Christmas wish list

"It seems like the idea of Ardie Savea moving to openside flanker is no longer on the table"

Says who? Savea was picked on the open side, with Wallace Sititi at 8, against France. It makes no difference to Savea’s game, whatsoever and allows Sititi to play in his preferred position. It also provides an option to bring in a third loose forward that may provide a better lineout option and a big body to compete with some of the big bodies found in other teams.

It was unfortunate that Finau was injured so early on against France before he had a chance to show how he might combine with Savea and Sititi, and there is still a possibility that Hoskins Sotutu might be effective alongside them too.

Don’t count out viable options.
