Antoine Hastoy is a talented French fly half who has been playing professional rugby union since 2016. He represented Pau between 2016 and 2022, when he moved to La Rochelle. In 2021, he secured a spot in the French national team.
Born 4 June 1997 in Bayonne, France, Hastoy started playing rugby at six years of age for amateur club Billère-Lescar. In 2011, he joined the Pau Academy.
He made his professional debut with the squad in May 2016 and, throughout his time with Pau, he played over 100 matches and acquired over 700 points for the team.
In 2021 he was called up to the French national team by Fabien Galthié. He then made his debut for the side during the summer tour of Australia in a loss against the Wallabies. The following year he moved to La Rochelle and won the 2022-23 European Rugby Championship Cup. During the 2023 Rugby World Cup, he scored his first international try in a match against Uruguay.
Antoine Hastoy has enjoyed a notable career so far. With plenty more years ahead of him, we anticipate seeing many more great things from this talented French fly half.
