Bio
Assia Khalfaoui is a young but talented prop who plays for both France women’s national rugby union team and Stade Bordelais.
Born on 24 March 2001 in Pont-du-Casse, France, Khalfaoui began playing rugby union for SU Agen Lot-et-Garonne before signing for Stade Bordelais at age 18. She established herself quickly within the team and has been a regular starter ever since.
Khalfaoui made her international debut playing for France on 27 March 2022 in Grenoble, where the team won 39-6 against Italy. Later that year, Khalfaoui was named as part of the French team for the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
Khalfaoui has shown excellent promise and has given some solid performances throughout her career so far. We can’t wait to see more from the young prop.
