
Women's Six Nations
Axelle Berthoumieu is a young French rugby union player who plays in the back row for Blagnac Rugby Féminin. Berthoumieu also represents the France women’s national rugby team, where she often operates as a flanker.
Berthoumieu was born on 9 July 2000. She began playing with Castres Olympique in 2015, then moved to Blagnac Rugby Féminin in 2017.
In 2022, Berthoumieu was selected to be part of the French squad for the 2022 Women’s Six Nations Championship. She also made appearances in the 2023 and 2024 editions of the tournament.
Berthoumieu has given some admirable performances throughout her career so far. With so much of her career left ahead of her, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the versatile French player.
