Bio

Baptiste Couilloud plays as a scrum half for Lyon and the French national team.

Born on 22 July 1997, Baptiste Couilloud has represented Lyon for the entirety of his senior career. He made his first appearance for the club in 2016 and has since played in more than 130 matches for Le LOU. In 2016, he famously helped Lyon win the EPCR Challenge Cup. He scored a try in the final as Lyon overpowered Toulon 30-12.

Fast forward to 2018 and Baptiste Couilloud made his debut for France in the Six Nations Championship against Italy. He’s since been capped regularly and was named in the France squad for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

With many of his best years still ahead of him, we can’t wait to see what else Baptiste Couilloud can achieve for both Lyon and France.
