Bio
Émeline Gros is a number eight that represents both FC Grenoble Amazones and the France women’s national rugby union team.
Gros was born on 19 August 1995 and her club career began with FC Grenoble Amazones in 2013. In 2018, she won the Elite 2 championship with the squad. Fast forward to 2020 when she enjoyed a brief stint with Montpellier Hérault Rugby, playing with the club for two years before returning to FC Grenoble Amazones in 2022.
Gros made her debut for France in a match against Spain in November 2017. Following this, in July 2019, Gros scored her first try for her country during a match against the United States. She was then named in the French squad for the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
Her talents remained clear and, in 2023, she was called up to the French team again for the 2023 Women’s Six Nations Championship.
Gros has enjoyed a great career in rugby union so far and we anticipate seeing many more impressive performances from her in the future.
