Bio
Lina Tuy is a French rugby union player who plays as a fly half for ASM Romagnat and the French women’s rugby union team.
Tuy was born on 10 September 2004, in Aixe-sur-Vienne. She began playing rugby union for Aixe Rugby Athletic in 2013 and remained with the team until 2018. She played for USA Limoges between 2018 and 2020, and then played as a cadet with CA Brive. Finally, in 2022, she moved to ASM Romagnat, where she has stayed ever since.
In 2023, Tuy joined the Olympic Academy of the French Rugby Federation, and was selected as part of a group of 35 players ahead of the WXV 2023 with France. The following year, she began preparing for the Six Nations tournament with the French team.
During the first day of the Six Nations Championship, she made her first appearance for France in a match against Ireland, after replacing Lina Queyroi. She made her first start for France in a warmup match for WXV, in a 38-19 defeat against England.
Tuy’s rugby union career has only just begun and with plenty of years ahead, we can’t wait to see what’s next for her.
