Merab Kvirikashvili, who plays his club rugby in France with Figeac, is an accurate goal-kicker, whose tactical kicking game suits the way his team likes to play. Equally at home in the number nine shirt, the fly half made his first appearance for Georgia in 2003 against Portugal. He now has over 50 caps for his country. He was prominently involved at both the 2003 and 2007 World Cups.
