Bio
Reda Wardi is a French rugby union player who currently plays as a prop for La Rochelle and the French national team.
Reda Wardi began his career in the Montpellier HR academy. He then made his debut for AS Béziers Hérault in 2015. He quickly became an established member of the side and completed 59 appearances for the club between 2015 and 2019.
Ahead of the 2019-20 season, Reda Wardi moved to La Rochelle and began to play regularly in the Top 14. Since, the club has been highly successful, claiming multiple European Rugby Champions Cups.
Reda Wardi’s performances for La Rochelle caught the eye of the French selectors, and he was called up to represent the national team for the first time in 2022. Since, he’s been a regular fixture in the side. In fact, he played regularly during the 2023 Rugby World Cup, including in France’s impressive victory against New Zealand.
Still young and with plenty left to prove, we can’t wait to see what else Reda Wardi can achieve in the game.
