Clive Rowlands was a former schoolteacher whose mental acuity earned him the nickname Top Cat, and he combined that with an athletic ability to serve Welsh rugby with distinction as a player, coach and administrator.
Rowlands also managed the British and Irish Lions and served as president of the Welsh Rugby Union.
Wales lock Will Rowlands is set to leave the Dragons at the end of the season and has agreed terms with a club outside of Wales from the beginning of the 2023/24 season.
The Dragons lock was one of Wales' best players last season and he is in a bullish mood ahead of the URC season
Having made a 2020 Test level breakthrough, Will Rowlands was always going to have to leave Wasps to continue playing for Wales.
