The best rugby sevens sides on the planet are about to descend on BC Place Stadium for the Vancouver 7s tournament.
HSBC Rugby Sevens Vancouver (officially HSBC SVNS Vancouver or SVNS VAN) will include 64 matches. All three days of the event will feature thrilling sevens action, fancy dress and an electrifying atmosphere.
The Vancouver Sevens is the fourth stop in the new HSBC SVNS Series. The tournament will see 12 women’s and 12 men’s teams, including Canada’s women’s and men’s sevens teams, vying for silverware.

Which Teams are Taking Part in HSBC SVNS Vancouver?
In total, 24 of the world’s best international sevens teams will feature at HSBC rugby sevens in Vancouver. This includes 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams.

What is the Vancouver Rugby Sevens Schedule?
The first match of rugby 7s Vancouver will kick off at 11:00am PST on Friday 23rd February. In total, 24 matches will be played on this day (12 men’s and 12 women’s). The following day, a further 24 matches will be played (again 12 men’s and 12 women’s).
Then, on Sunday 25th February, 16 matches will be played (8 men’s and 8 women’s). This includes the two gold medal matches.
The pools for HSBC SVNS Vancouver were drawn following the completion of the Perth event. In the men’s competition, all conquering Argentina will face double Olympic champions Fiji, Spain and hosts Canada. Australia are in Pool B with USA and Samoa. A tough looking Pool C includes Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand and Great Britain.
Meanwhile, in the women’s competition, Perth champions Ireland will face New Zealand, Brazil and South Africa in Pool A. Current SVNS 2024 leaders Australia are in Pool B, alongside USA, FIji and Japan. Then, Pool C includes Great Britain, France, Canada and Spain.
